Information Technology Centre has been launched at Agriculture Training Institute Sakrand, with 10 latest computers and networking equipment.

To improve quality of new Field Assistants and Stock Assistants, pre-entrance test has been introduced. 50 percent of the 2 year course has been switched over to field / practical trainings.

The UNDP has selected ATI Sakrand for organizing international training course in which trainees from 20 countries will participate. A training facility for saline agriculture and a cotton crop cell are proposed to be introduced at ATI Jacobabad.
