Bulldozers were received
from different countries through grants / aids.
Last grant was received during the year 1991-92 most of the
bulldozers received has outlived their life (i.e. 13000 hours).
Conditions of the bulldozers was exhausted and were not able
to perform operational activities in the year 2002-2003.
Cost of the new bulldozers is around Rs.10 – 12 Millions
of Rupees.
To replace the entire fleet huge amount was required therefore
it was decided to launched re-build programme of the bulldozers,
which resultantly increased the progress by incurring Rs.1.7
to 2.0 Million per bulldozer.
